Email Forwarder: MX Logic (now McAfee)

Known to originate email on behalf of other domains? yes

Forwarding Characteristics

Preserves DKIM signatures? yes

Uses own domain in envelope (SPF)? no

Notes on Forwarding

MX Logic customers can configure MX Logic as their domain's MX. MX Logic will then forward message to their final destination (the customer's own infrastructure, for example). DKIM can be preserved. MX Logic will replace the original envelope address with the customer's own domain.

When deploying DMARC, domain owners often find that email can flow through forwarders before arriving at a final destination.

Domain owners then wonder if the forwarder is capable of interoperating with DMARC.
