DMARC: MailChimp will use default authentication (for DKIM and SPF) unless customer configures account to use the customer's domain for DKIM authentication. MailChimp info: http://kb.mailchimp.com/delivery/deliverability-research/set-up-mailchimp-authentication
DKIM: Can be configured to use customer's domain: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/email-authentication/set-up-custom-domain-authentication-dkim-and-spf
SPF: SPF is not possible as MailChimp uses their own domain in the bounce address. Their domain authentication verification tool requires including Mailchimp, though. To work-around this without having to include Mailchimp servers, try including only 'ip4:184.108.40.206/20 ip4:220.127.116.11/18 ip4:18.104.22.168/21' in your SPF record.
When deploying DMARC, domain owners often find new sources of email.
Domain owners then wonder if the source is capable of sending DMARC compliant email.
This directory contains information on the capabilities of various sources of email.
